In fact, you could not find the name “Tsubame Sanjo” on the map of Japan because it is a combination of “Tsubame City” and “Sanjo City” in Niigata Prefecture.
The origins of this town can be traced back to the Edo period. It was a manufacturing industry that began with making a single nail. As time went by, till the end of the Meiji period, this place was called as “Tsubame Sanjo”. Which famous for its metal tableware and metal processing industries .
The metal craftsmanship, that were born out of the long history of suffering and wars, has been passed down from generation to generation by craftsmen hardly. As a result, it created this famous metal capital.
That's why even now in Japan, “Tsubamhe Sanjo” symbolizes high-quality metal products.
Summit is also a part of this metal city of Tsubame Sanjo. Founded in Taisho 8 (1919), Summit has accumulated more than a century of experience in iron making. However, the workers never slacken off.
